New media producer that uses technology as a tool to daydream digitally and hone his creative visions. His background includes a bachelors degree in multimedia productions, six years of employment at an application & software development boutique, consulting for gay Latino organizations, research on cultural affairs, and business management of his own photography, video and graphic media company. He’s also dedicated five years of his life to the development of a very important social-political documentary.
Mario Novoa is an independent producer and director with a background in theater, television and film. As a 16-year-old producer he began producing plays for his high school and a producer/writer for a daily newscast for his local cable channel. Mario developed a confidence with established producers that led him to work at the Sundance Film Institute, Gregory Nava’s El Norte Productions, World of Wonder Prod., Paramount Television and as business owner of Novoa Entertainment.
Oscar de Alba is an editor that is currently involved with the project because of its important social message to the world and as a cinematic agent of change. He hopes to expand his already large network of friends and get into the industry of filmmaking as an editor. Oscar attended Columbia College in Hollywood and has knowledge in cinematography as well as in directing. He is originally from San Diego and came to LA to find a new life in his passion for film.
Peter Rodriguez is a Final Cut Pro editor and has worked on several short films over the years. He has a certificate from the Hollywood Digital Film School, took TV production classes at Pasadena City College and is currently attending the Video Symphony Institute of Post Production-Burbank. He seeks to continue expanding his knowledge in post-production with a focus on motion graphics and editing.
Hector Miranda is a software engineer who doesn’t like to be seen as one, so when people ask him what he does, he just answers “I sell ice cream”. Photography and film are his new passion and has just begun to make it a career out it. He is very passionate about technology. He is a Mexican from Mexico– so expect him to be a ‘naco’. He is a kid at heart, likes video games and loves Ren & Stimpy and family guy.
